Ever since I can remember, I have always been interested in learning and gaining knowledge about everything. It has always been my hope that somehow I can know about things, but not for the sake of knowing but putting it to good use also. I believe that whatever one learns through education always helps at different points in time. The importance of education cannot be denied, whether to do with ones career or to achieve some personal goal.

I will simultaneously be enrolled in the Northeastern University and at Hebrew College. There is quite a difference between both the educational institutions. Northeastern is huge with different student studying coming from diverse backgrounds, it is like melting pot, where all ethnic backgrounds are represented and come together. Hebrew college on the other hand is a small exclusive college more personalized, and where more attention is given to individual students. This personalized treatment is very appealing as it is very different from the environment of Northeastern. Another thing is that this college is very exclusive being a religious college so students who really are interested in their religion come to it for a serious purpose. Therefore, in my view they are more inclined towards their studies then at any regular university. I am really looking forward to studying here.

I have always been interested in my religion and its background and history, my interest goes back since I was very young. Learning about the scripture and the Torah, studying the lives of all the great prophets is also my passion. However, the knowledge I have until now is very limited and in my view very superficial. A more in depth analysis of Judaism, will make me more aware of my ancestors and the hardships they had to bear to just survive, and the strengths of their characters, which were backed by their religiosity. I hope to come out of the College a more enlightened person. This is my greatest hope.

Another important factor, which is very important is that the options for me to study different courses is always open and the choices for my career are almost inexhaustible, instead of a limited number of courses I can choose from a variety of subjects, and once I finish my undergraduate work I can always join up for graduate level courses.
I hope that by getting a place in your esteemed college I can fulfill my dreams and work to the best of ability. I have always been a hard worker and like to always be ahead of my work rather then procrastinating. I believe that my future would be secure in all ways if I get a chance to study with you. Moreover, the idea of rediscovering my roots is irresistible
