Teaching to students especially, younger kids, requires a great deal of personal
and professional skills. An efficient teacher must be dedicated, devoted and
ambitious along with her caring and effective teaching capabilities.
Talents and Abilities
I believe that I have the entire basic requirement stated above to become a
teacher, along with considerable perseverance and tolerance to be an ideal
teacher for the younger students. I have a good understanding of child
psychology that would be additionally beneficial while dealing with the talented
and less gifted students who may need to be pushed to be able to recognize and
polish their skills. In the era when child counseling is considered a very
important aspect of academic life, I consider myself fit for a teacher cum
counselor.
Growth
As I believe that every child has is a unique individual and deserves to be
treated with love, respect and care. The immature personalities of the student
are to be polished by the teacher. In the due course they become sophisticated
and stabilized. Moreover the mental capabilities can be explored at early ages
that may help in future development and direction of the student’s life. In this
process the teacher, along with the parents, plays a crucial role by identifying
and asserting the role of a child on the wider society. I would like to provide
the students with self-enlightenment along with the academic knowledge and in
turn gain immense gratification for achieving the purpose.
Focus
In the light of the modern teaching methods and techniques I would like to
assert the need for audio visual aids for the teaching activity. I would like
the students to gain practical, first hand knowledge rather than passive
persuasion. Moreover polishing the writing skills and expression abilities are
my top priorities. The children need to be approached from an emotional and then
practical view to create the motivation to learn and then to introduce then to a
real experience so that they may learn to the fullest and enjoy the activity.
This, I believe creates a more effective impact of the learned activity and
creates a desire to learn more and thus gives rise to observational and
investigative attitudes among children.
Summary Statement
My aim is to hold a professional career in teaching and put forward my views and
educational philosophies for the advantage and advancement of the educational
system and the well being of the children in their academic lives.
