Hitler was a moody child he was very close to his mother. Hitler was more
attached to his mother than his father because his father was a very strict
disciplined man. His mother’s death due to cancer was a serious blow to him .He
could not tolerate the incidence as he was too close with his mother. As he grew
up he dreamt of becoming a renowned painter. But, his interest changed after
some time and then he acquired politics and developed an interest in the
politics. In May 1913 Hitler joined the Sixteenth Bavarian Infantry Regiment,
serving as a despatch runner. He proved himself and showed courage, braveness
and strength. He showed all the qualities of a soldier .He was given the medals
such as Iron Cross Second Class and First Class.
